ENGL 350: Science, Technology, and the Literature of Cultural Change
This is a new course for me, so I will be tinkering with it throughout the summer break. That said, I will be designing a course that explores themes raised in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein: or the Modern Prometheus. This will include an exploration of the Prometheus myth alluded to in the novel’s subtitle and its influence on the science fiction genre.
